On September 9th, immediately after the golf holiday, we will be closing the complete lower half of the Club, ie lawns 1 & 2, for up to six weeks.
This is to enable us to carry out extensive renovation works.
As soon as they re-open the upper half, ie lawns 3 & 4, will be closed for a similar period to carry out the same work.
The operation has to be carried out whilst there is still time for the lawns to recover in what remains of the growing season.
Once this work is completed we will only be making three lawns available for play for the duration of the winter ie up to some time in March.
We will be carrying out continuing maintenance on one lawn at a time on a rotational basis.
There will always be three lawns available for play.
The booking system will allow you to book a lawn space but you will have to take your pick of what’s available when you arrive at the Club. You will not turn up in vain.
