Twelve members turned out on the last week to post a score in this popular competition. Alan Dix won this week, his third win of the season. Alan’s score was 87 just a couple of points behind the highest winning score of 89 by John Bagnall in week 4. Second was Sheila Dix with a score of 77 and Sylvia Steer was third with 74.
Well he’s been leading the overall table for a few weeks now and by winning this week Alan Dix has cemented his position as overall winner of this year’s John Saxby competition. Well done Alan. Alan will receive his trophy at next weeks final John Saxby for this season. Well done too, to Robert for coming second and Andrew and Lorna for coming joint third, only a couple of points above John in 5th place. The top 5 winning 50% of the weeks played between them! I guess that’s why they are in the top 5.
