Bowdon Weekdayers, captained by Alan Mayne, took the trip up to sunny Blackpool to play Fylde. The rest of the Weekdayers team is Kay Martin, Carol Steinberg and fresh from his successes in recent John Saxby and One- Ball Competitions Mike Dale.
Despite expectations of a sunny day beside the sea the opposite happened and following a tremendous down pour the match was abandoned with Fylde leading 5 games to 3. Giving Fylde the victory.
The Fylde team was Ian, Alison, Derek and Robert.
