Captain David Holland (6) and his team of Mike Shelmerdine (6), David Beddy (9) and John Bagnall (16) travelled to Crake Valley, in the NWF 26pt Handicap League. The Crake team was John Henderson (4), Jim Allcock (6), Simon Robins (12) and Philip Helliwell (22).
Crake were just a bit too strong for the Griffins and ran out winners by 6 games to 1. The Griffins shining light was John Bagnall who won his game against Jim Allcock 26 – 0. Well done John.
The Griffins still have a chance of winning the league, they play Bury Peelers on 5th September. Good luck in that match Griffins.
