This week saw Bowdon host its annual 14 pt Handicap Tournament. In addition to home players there were visitors from York, Blewbury and Surbiton taking part.
Sixteen players turned up on Wednesday hoping to make it through the rounds to compete in Thursdays final. As is usually the case two players managed that; Louise Cheyne and Mike Blackburn.
Mike Blackburn, who didn’t lose a game during the tournament took the win and here he is receiving his trophy from Club President and Tournament Manager Lorna Frost. Well done Mike and commiserations to Louise.
