The Angels’ total handicap score was 10, whilst Chester’s was 10.5, so on paper the teams were evenly matched. The Chester players performed very well, with only Will managing a win over David Guyton. Chester now top the league on 8 points from second place Crake on 6 points. The Angels are tied with Crake on 6 points, but have a game in hand over both Crake and Chester.
The Angels’ final match against Bury is now a must-win, by 5-0, if they are to have a chance of winning the league. That is a big ask!
