Welcome to all golf croquet players to the annual golf croquet holiday. This event has been much enjoyed over years, first at Ripon, and now at Bowdon. This year it starts on the morning of Sunday 8th September, and ends on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th. It involves playing lots of doubles and singles games, with players from Doncaster, Bedfordshire, South Wales, and of course our own club. In between games there is time for friendly chats with the other players. Our club catering team are kindly preparing the food and drink for the lunch, tea and snacks each of the three days, and dinner on the Monday evening. This dinner will be followed by a social gathering at the club. All this practice should improve accuracy and tactics in golf croquet, but should also feed into improvements in AC and One Ball. Expect also to have fun, and enjoy a three-day holiday.
