The Bowdon Bounders team in the Croquet North West Handicap Golf Croquet League (South) had a very successful day on Sunday 11th August, in the sunshine, winning 14 – 4 against the Llanfairfechan Pioneers. Ros was captain. She and Charles deserve congratulations for winning all of their singles. Both clubs won 1 doubles game. Bounders are now in 4th place in the League but have sufficient games in hand to catch up with the top team, who just happen to be Llanfairfechan Pioneers! The Bounders inflicted the first defeat of the season on the Pioneers. Very well done Bounders.
