With no play last week, twelve members braved the hot weather to take part in week 17 of the competition. Ken Cooper was this weeks winner, his first win of the season, scoring 86 points. Second was Kay Martin with 70 points. Louise Cheyne and Charles Fraser shared third spot with a score of 63.
Andy Jackson remains out front, and Mike Blackburn, despite having his handicap chopped the other week, is creeping up the table and is now in 5th position. The remainder of the top five looks like this:
