At the Croquet England AC Open Championship Jack Good and Simon Jenkins entered the doubles competition. They had a bye in the first round but lost in the Quarter Finals of the Doubles Championship to Jenny Clarke and Stephen Mulliner, 17-26 and 12-26. They then entered the Plate Competition where they played the other pairings that were similarly eliminated. They successfully beat those other pairings and thus won the Plate Competition.
