Bowdon players in the British GC Open Championship, 27th-30th June

John-Paul Moberly, Jack Good and Euan Burridge played in the British GC Open Championship at the Sussex County Croquet Club, Brighton, 27th-30th June. They all qualified for the knockout stages after successfully navigating the way through their groups. All three got as far as the Quarter Final. It certainly reflects well on Bowdon Croquet Club that we had three players in the last eight of this major championship. Jack was beaten in the Quarter Finals by the eventual winner, Jamie Burch, but interestingly Jack took more points off Jamie than did the runner up Stuart M Smith. The knockout stage results are shown below. As from the Croquet Scores website.
