Bowdon beat Nottingham 4-3 in the Longman Cup, 27th June

Our Longman Cup team secured another brilliant win on Thursday 27th June. This time they beat Nottingham 4-3. The match was very close, with 2 games being settled by just one point, of which we won one and lost one. This was nail-biting stuff for all concerned! This means that they are now through to the Quarter Final of the competition. Liz and Ed both managed to win their two singles to ensure the win. Well done team. Their next opponents will be Wrest Park (half way between Bedford and Luton). Let us hope that the match is played at Bowdon. Our team have travelled enough.
