Bowdon’s B-Advanced team maintained their winning form at Bury. The 2 morning games were shared 1-1, but Bowdon’s 2 victories in the afternoon saw them through to an overall 3-2 win. Bowdon now have 2 wins from 2 matches, both against Bury, in the NWF South AC B-Advanced League. We must now play 2 matches against Chester. The eventual winner of NWF South will play the winner of NWF North.

The Bury team was Ged Smolskas 2.5, Ken Jones 4 and David Barrat 4.5.
In the morning doubles Mike and Dave lost against David and Ken 17-21, whilst Brian recorded a win against Ged in the singles 26-11.
In the afternoon singles Brian beat Ken 26-4, Dave beat David 22-13 and Mike lost to Ged 6-26.
