Alain Giraud, is a far-country member at Bowdon, mainly playing at Ealing. He represents Bowdon by playing in our inter-club teams, and plays in our advanced tournaments. The Du Pre events comprise Doubles, Men’s and Women’s Championships and knockout events, and are held at Cheltenham. Alain won the Men’s Knockout Event.
Alain beat Rick Harding, a regular Bowdon visitor, in the semi-final 26-10, and beat Richard M Smith 26-13 and 26-0 in the final. Well done Alain.
