Bowdon managed to beat Southport by the narrow margin of 4 games to 3 in the North West Federation AC Weekend handicap League. Bowdon now top the League with 3 wins from their three matches. Bowdon took a lead of 2-1 in the morning with wins by Dave and Ros in the doubles and Adrian in the singles, whilst John lost his singles. In the afternoon singles, wins by Adrian and John secured the 4-3 win in the match. Well done team!

In the morning games there was a doubles win for Dave and Ros against Barbara and Peter, 16-11, and in the singles Adrian beat Bill 26-14 and John lost to Anne 10-26
In the afternoon Adrian beat Barbara 26-19, John beat Bill 26-18, Dave narrowly lost to Anne 15-16 and Ros lost to Peter 18-22.
