Our Short team were soundly beaten by Pendle and Craven, 12-4 in their NWF League match. The day was predominantly fine with a couple of heavy showers, luckily the worst one was during the lunch interval. Bowdon players found the lawns to be very even but slower than our own. The hospitality from Pendle and Craven was much appreciated. Cas drove safely and demonstrated her sun roof. The Bowdon team was:

Cas beat Paul and Garry, but lost to Libby and Robin
Carol beat Garry but lost to Paul, Libby and Robin
Louise beat Garry but lost to Paul, Libby and Robin
