The Club’s 150th Anniversary celebrations continued on Saturday 29th April with members, family and friends enjoying friendly croquet before the official opening of the new summerhouse followed by afternoon tea and an exhibition game of golf croquet.
Following a welcome address by Club President Brian Storey, the CA President, Patricia Duke-Cox, asked Sally Dynevor MBE (Sally Metcalfe of Coronation Street) to officially open the summerhouse.
A splendid afternoon tea was then served with cakes and goodies provided by various members. During the afternoon Jack Good and Angharrad Walters gave an exhibition game of golf croquet.
Thanks to all the members who helped organise and provide the food for what proved to be an excellent enjoyable day.
