Winter Croquet Timetable
The winter timetable (see below) will commence on Monday 31st October (after the clock change).
But there will also be a one ball competition on saturdays between now and the clock change. (see at the bottom of this page.
The lawns will be rearranged to form four 18ft modules (3/4 lawns). There will be no short lawns.
There will be 3 x 1.5 hour sessions:
- 11:00 – 12:30
- 12:45 – 14:15
- 14:30 – 16:00
The following organised weekly competitions will be put into the booking system. Each will require “registration” as for the current competitions:
- Mondays – an organised 14pt competition using three lawns (12 players max) during the first session of the day (11:00 – 12:30). As current Mondays, mainly aimed at beginners/high handicappers.
- Tuesdays – Solomon Grundy will continue using three lawns (12 players Max) with two 26pt games over all three sessions.
- Thursdays – a 14pt competition (similar to summer Wednesday Comp) but just two games using the first two sessions using all four lawns (16 players max), with 1/2 hour for lunch. This will be a 10:45 start so 10:30 for the draw.
- Saturday – a one ball competition to be played over the last two session (12:45 – 16:00) using all four lawns. (24 Players max).
In addition there will be a 14pt knock-out competition during the winter months – this also requires registration (by the 26th October).
Drop down box change “Lawns” to “Winter Comps” registration will disappear soon after the cut-off date (26/10). Don’t forget to change back to “Lawns”.
Lastly from the 8th October (next Saturday tea day) till the 29th October inclusive, there will be a Saturday One Ball on the summer timetable (13:30 – 16:45) using three current full lawns (24 players max). Please register as required.
