On Sunday 4th September 4 extremely intrepid Bowdon players will set off to the far north, taking sheepkin coats, wellingtons, snowshoes and umbrellas, to play against Crake in the NWF Weekend Handicap AC League. The league table currently has 3 teams at the top all with 3 wins out of 4. When games for and against are taken into account Bowdon are third and Crake are second, behind Bury Caesars. A win at Crake would send Bowdon to the top of the league with two more games to play.
