England win GC Home Internationals; Wales second, 16-17 July

Bowdon’s John-Paul Moberly and Jack Good played for England, and Angharrad Walters played for Wales, in the Golf Croquet Home Internationals at Nottingham on 16 – 17 July. Scotland made up the three teams.

The England team of John-Paul Moberly, Jack Good, Aston Wade and Euan Burridge beat the Scotland team of Sam Murray, Martin Murray, Lorna Dewar and Stephen Wright 7-1.

The Wales team of Angharrad Walters, Ian Burridge, Tudor Jenkins and Chris Roberts also beat Scotland 7-1.

In the deciding match England beat Wales 5-2 to take the title. Congratulations to the England team.
