Bowdon play Chester at Bowdon on Sunday 5 June in the NWF B class Advanced League. Bowdon are in a group with Chester and Bury, whilst a second group consists of Crake, Fylde and Pendle. The winners of each group play in a final to determine the overall League winner. In the group stage there is also a Bonus Point System for losing teams who increase their net team index significantly during matches. Bowdon have already beaten Bury so are hopeful of a second victory, but even if we beat Chester the Bonus Point System could still allow another team to progress to the final. Captains may find that calculators are more useful than mallets!
