Brian defended the title that he won last year, but was not able to quite repeat his amazing win. The winner was Alison Broughton of Fylde. Brian thinks he achieved third place but is not really sure. What is certain is that Brian, as last year, cut a dashing figure in his all-over orange outfit. Orange is the colour that Bowdon players should wear, to some extent, when competing in NWF special events. Other Bowdon players may content themselves with an orange scarf, but Brian has greater ambitions. Well done Brian.
