Ged Smolskas from Bury wins Reed Cup (+15), with Bowdon’s Andrew Whittaker being the runner-up. Philip Jay from Huddersfield wins Egyptian.
In the semi-finals Andrew beat Liz Web +12T and Ged beat Mike Steer +25.
Andrew Whittaker earned his Croquet Association Bronze Award for running 10 hoops using bisques and winning a game. Ged’s handicap changed from 10 to 9, Philip’s handicap changed from 8 to 7, and Andrew’s changed from 14 to 10.
