By now some of you will be aware that one member who participated in last week’s Solomon Grundy has now tested positive for Covid-19.
They have alerted all those other members with whom they have been in contact.
It is currently still our intention to proceed with the Afternoon Tea this Saturday, but it goes without saying that that anyone with COVID symptoms shouldn’t attend the club and also we encourage members to take a LFT before attending.
Regarding the Clubhouse, keeping the doors & windows open should ensure that the room is well ventilated. There’s also the option for anyone concerned to wear a mask indoors & take their tea onto the verandah area to eat outdoors.
Given the concern that this may have caused to members, can you please let me (or Lorna) know if you are planning to to attend the tea on Saturday, so Lorna has a good idea how many to cater for.
