Margaret has enhanced Bowdon’s reputation for Golf croquet. At the All-England Golf Croquet Area Final on Saturday 31st July, Margaret tied for first place with Heather Hardy who was playing on her home lawns at Ashby. Margaret and Heather each won 4 out of their 6 matches, but Heather was slightly ahead on hoops scored. The tournament was played in a friendly spirit and with fine weather, so was an enjoyable occasion. As a result of her outstanding performance Margaret has been offered a reserve place at the All-England GC Final which will be held at Sidmouth in Devon in September. Well done Margaret.
