MUSICAL EVENING, Saturday 14th October

An entertaining evening was enjoyed by over 50 club members & friends, raising 480 for charity.
David Cotton and his band, Coast, provided the main entertainment with support from:
Liz Webb showing off her other accent; George Kistruck giving an alternative tale of Cinderella; Sylvia & Mike Steer being 'bandits'; Margaret Moss demonstrating her skill on the violin; Sue Cooper, Alison Court, Ros Pimlott, & Carol Sinclair singing the joys of the croquet girls.
In the interval, Kay Martin and Alan Mayne organised the fine selection of food, plus drinks, with help from a number of members. A total of 480 was raised and the proceeds were shared equally between the Alzheimer's Society and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Thanks to all who contributed.
