NORTHERN WEEK 6th - 11th JULY

There are places left in both the Level Play section (6th - 8th) and the Handicap section (9th - 11th). If you have not played in a tournament before the handicap section is a good place to start as there are singles and doubles games where you would be paired with a more experienced player. Contact David Walters if you wish to enter.
Even if you do not want to play, your help is urgently needed with the catering - please indicate what you would like to do on the sheet on the notice board. Thanks.

CLUB COMPETITIONS
The club competition pages are up-to-date, as at 20th June. Please let Steve Reynolds know if you are not going to be able to complete a match on time.

BARBEQUE, 7pm ON THURSDAY 21st JUNE

We are holding our annual Barbeque next week, one week after the Beginners' Course finishes to encourage any new members to come down, at a time that they have been free for the past 6 weeks and experience one of our best kept secrets. Once again, Colin Irwin will be the chef extraordinaire in charge of cooking that is to die for!

Please sign the list in the clubhouse to guarantee a seat as there are only so many places available... and anyone who can kindly provide a salad on the night, will they please indicate what they are doing on that particular list. Many thanks.

See pictures form last year by clicking here

TEA ROTA

Dave Holland and Diana Jerman are unable to do teas on their allocated day of 30th June.

Are there any volunteers to swap dates, or to stand in for us? If so, please contact Dave on his mobile or by e-mail.

Thanks, Dave Holland

Welcome to Bowdon Croquet Club 2018...

...where croquet is played on most days of the year.

We are a thriving active club and welcome new members (see New Members section for an application form or just come and visit).

To book, or for more details, please contact Charles on 0161 980 6419. Coaching is also available free on a one-to-one basis at all times.

The 2018 croquet season runs from late March until October when three full size lawns and three short lawns are laid out.
Limited play is permitted during the winter months.

Bowdon hosts several Croquet Association tournaments and internationals each year.
In 2018 these are:

The May Handicap Weekend
